My A. Geniculata's burrow collapsed on itself. (My fault)

I was trying to fish some crickets out of my girl's tunnel she made. She refused to eat, so i know she's likely in premolt. Problem is, the angle of her burrow is so awkward that it was near impossible to get the crickets out. I bent a wire hanger at an angle to try to get to the crickets, and my T wasn't having it. She basically nosedived deeper into the substrate trying to tunnel further. I started to slowly pull the hanger out, and it caught on something and the whole house came down. The way it fell separated the crickets from my T at least. Now she's buried in substrate. It's not funny, but the whole situation was kind of ridiculous. I had to leave for a few hours but I plan on returning to hopefully see her topside. Otherwise, I'm digging her out. There's nothing heavy to fall on her, so I'm not too worried about that. Anyone have similar stories?

It happens my lp dug itself out of its burrow panicking because I watered the tunnel. It hasn’t tried to dig since.

I think I'll just leave them be. They know how to dig out. I don't feel the need to stress her out even more

Genics are great diggers. I’d give her a minute to try to sort it out herself first. If you aren’t seeing any movement for awhile, dig away slowly and carefully.

Great news! Of course we’re gonna ask for pics!
Well I got a good look at my T today and saw the cricket still alive inside the cage. I carefully opened the lid because my T is definitely in premolt. Of course the cricket hopped straight in the air directly on to her spooking the crap out of her. Finally got the cricket out and moved her into a dark closet. Once she's molted ill post some pics.

When my Sacha was wee and in premolt, a cricket chased him down his tunnel and back up again like some slapstick skit. I was failing at grabbing said cricket with my tweezers and they headed back down the tunnel again, until the cricket jumped onto Sacha. He let that cricket know right away that he was no pony. Glad you were more successful at capturing your cricket antagonizer! Can’t wait to see pics in the Who Molted Today thread.
