Mushroom and Pear on the Menu!

Above the mushroom on the left are 3 little white dots. Those are protonymphs; the first stage after the egg in millipede development. I have some larger babies but they aren't out today! The largest ones are 2" at 6 months old.

I put 2 large sliced mushrooms in and they were gone within 8 hours. 3 adults and unknown number of children. Must be lots in there!

What's the species?

African Giant Black. AGB. I've had them about a year. My larger female is 12.5". My male is 9.5". Gorgeous creatures.

They also love apple, avocado, cucumber, watermelon, sweet potato and baked potato. I give them lots of leaves and dried mushrooms when I'm going out of town. I never see anyone talk about maple syrup anymore but they love that, too. Especially the ivories.
