YO! guys I'm not actually new here...but probably this is the first time you heard from me....My scorp just stop move just this morning....I really want to know how to know if its dead or just moulting..?

I'm really worried if its dead cuz I really have to take it off if its dead cuz it might cause the other one to die too...

So what are the possible indicators that the scorp is dead or just moulting...THX

Pay attention to its legs and tail. If the tail is laying straight out and limp, resting on the substrate, and if the legs aren't really supporting the body, that may be a bad sign.

There's really no way to tell except patience. If you're worried about some kind of contamination but you don't want to wait to see if it's still alive, I'd suggest removing your other scorp from the cage. If some contagion did kill it, you'll have to clean out the enclosure anyway.

Only resort to poking after a couple days. You don't wanna be the cause of a bad molt! Good luck.
