Right - my communal spiders have settled in after their excursion across my ceiling but i have found green mould to be growing from the cork tubing.

Do I take out the tubing and de-settle the spiders? And if so how do I get them out of the tubes without causeing them too much stress and loosing them everywhere?

And how do i sterilise the cork tubing? - swashing with boiling water doesnt seem to be working very well.

Unless the mold gets out of hand it might be best to just leave it. Maybe scrape off as much as you can (but then you might just disperse spores to other parts of the tank) and let the enclosure dry a bit. Eventually the mold will die off. By sterilizing the cork you'll just be making a clean environment for more spores to colonize and you'll have mold again.
