damn...it seems like the rarity of chromatopelma is a common middle-european problem....and dennie from holland wrote here something about slings being regularly sold for 5 euro

on the other hand, haplopelmas are surprisingly common here...on the last convention (24.5.) I saw at least five for sale...come to Prague, next event is on 19.6. :)

I got him! Last summer, Chris Maidens (username: Chris) sold me a little Usumbara that he suspected was male. Yesterday it moulted out mature. I'm giving him the three weeks we're in the States to harden up and load up and then he has dates with my six females.

Cheers,
Dave

Sam Marshall writes that P. murinus is very easy to breed and is known to double clutch. After you breed those keep us updated. I just got my first usumbara sling and it has quickly become my favorite T. :D

No worries, I'll keep you all up to date. :)

Usumbaras are fantastic, aren't they? It is definitely no accident that I have the seven of them. Beautiful colours, fiesty personality and the most fantastic webbing creations I have ever seen.

Cheers,
Dave

Now that is indeed a shame. Wicked species I highly recommend them as they are hard to top. :)

Yes. I saw them and that's why I must have one. At 50 bucks, I hope they stay for awhile because I don't have any money.

Being new to the hobby, most of my wish list is rather modest compared to some here, in terms of availability.

Acanthoscurria geniculata
Aphnopelma bicoloratum
Aphnopelma coloradanum
Avicularia avicularia
Avicularia versicolor
Brachypelma ruhnaui
Brachypelma smithi
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens
Lasiodora parahybana

and after seeing the pic posted the other day...
Poecilotheria subfusca!!!!
