What is the most common sub species sold under "Asian Forrest scorpion" name?

I know there Heterometrus, but witch is the most common? Im picking one up being sold as "Heterometrus sp." and am just wondering what its most likely to be?

I would think longimanus.

The most commonly sold "Asian forest scorpion" would probably be Heterometrus spinifer, but there is also a lot of petersii and longimanus out there.

What you should do is post a clear picture of the carapax and chela of your Heterometrus sp. after you got it. Then people here might be able to tentatively ID your scorpion.

Are there any noteable behaviourly differances between the species ?

I purchased a few "Asain Forest's" but they have allways acted differently.
One lives undergound. I never really see it too much anymore. lol
The other has had plenty of opportunity to burrow, but prefers to stay above using logs and what not for cover. It is also more aggresive.
