I caught a big one recently that lived for about two months (I believe this is the time of year the adults start to die off anyhow) and seemed to enjoy cereal.
I kept some for a bit and fed them root veggies mostly. They will feed on some other veggies too. I would suggest trying to grow some grass seeds and see if they would like to feed on the grass roots.
Good luck and let us know how things turn out!
Also, be sure to keep them nice and moist, they do NOT like to be kept dry.
I'm curious, what's your set-up like? Instead of soil I used soaked paper towels, with their claws they'll tear through it, make all sorts of tunnels and can be more observed more easily.
Food wise, in addition to the veggies, my females used to love pre-killed crickets. No legs or anything, if it's kicking too much they'll turn away, but if it's "safe" or easy to finish off, they'll readily go for it.
Oh, and just a guess, but perhaps they'd go for earth worms as well, but I haven't tried that.
