Because they are fun to look at and watch. So this is my first tarantula, it was sold to me as a chilean rose haired and I'm pretty sure it is. I think it's a female, but then again, maybe just wishful thinking, i thought I read somewhere that the female pedipalps are smaller than the males' pedipalps. To tell the sex you would need a photo of the underside of your T. also like the person on youtube said id reccomend changing your substrate to coco fiber. wood chips or shavings arent good for T's. she looks like a very nice rosie and the feeding vid is from a very cool angle
