In the next week or so, I'm hoping to begin working on a planted terrarium (10 gallon), and in the future, add a couple millipedes (orthoporus ornata or smokey oak), and maybe some isopods.

A while ago, I bought a large bag of ZooMed Forest Floor Cypress Mulch when a local store was going out of business. It advertises being good for both plants and invertebrates, but after time looking around preexisting forum threads, I have become a bit concerned.

So, for my particular situation- can it be used as a substrate? Either at all, but also mixed with regular potting soil and leaves for the millis? Even if I can't use it exclusively, I'd at least like to see it be used somewhat, especially if it can help the plants.
