Hi all,

I'm based in the UK and took on a variety of Ts from someone nearby in Tarantula Room enclosures....am I missing a trick with the cylinders? The lid only opens half way and doesn't come off completely as far as I can tell so doing anything in them seems to be a nightmare?!

I've moved a couple up in to tanks I know and like but some need moving up and this is all I have and honestly I'm tempted to wait a month and move them then 🤣😅

Pic for reference...

Do what works for you and the T
Thanks Viper, I'm only considering it as I'm not sure when it's next moult is and I'm also not sure it's got sufficient room to moult properly as it's idea of soil based interior design is....asymmetrical at best.

And it doesn't matter what I do, it keeps putting it back like that....

Did you get free Ts or something? I’ve never seen enclosures like that. Did you figure it out?

Have you tried a firm twist of the lid.
It looks like some sort of turn and lock type of top.

Unless there's a way to pull out the hinge pins, you might have to work with them. Depending on the material, silicone doesn't always adhere very firmly. You might be able to pry the lid off, but you'd have to reglue it on afterwards. Maybe the bottom 'disc' would come off more easily.
