Hello! I own 3 smokey oak millipedes and i'm wondering if there's any way I can make them come above ground without digging them up?

Maybe try adding some kind of fruit of vegetable to the surface. They like decaying stuff. Mushrooms might help too, the kind you would eat.

do you have a solid peice of wood in the enclosure? They like to hide under that.

why do you want them out? Are you worried something is wrong or do you just want to see them?

Narceus gordanus aka Smokey Oak , Smokey Ghost.
Native of The South Eastern United States Of America.

Is Nocturnal ... mainly active at night, best chance to catch a glimpse.

Lives on a Diet of Detritus.
Will respond to Threats by Secreting Foul Smelling/Tasting Fluid thus Discouraging Predation.

Edit - Sneak A Peek - :shy:

Thank you for the advice! And yes, I have some broken off tree branches in their enclosure. I think I just want to be able to see them :)

While I'm here I would like to hear any care advice about smokeys if anyone has any!
For examples: How often do I feed them? How often should I mist their tank?
