my pede has mites on her that live by her legs this is normal so im told but she has white/creamy ones as well as black/brown ones which are ok which are bad and do you think I should go about removing them???
White mites are the ones to watch out for. If they are sticking to the soft parts of her joints and not moving around you have the bad kind. If they are scampering everywhere then they aren't so much a threat as an annoyance. Change the substrate and try wiping them off with Q-tips. Smother the ones sticking onto soft parts with thin layers of vasoline, just be careful not to smother the millipede itself.
