Milk Snails (Otala Lactea): Are they difficult or easy to care for?

I really love snails but my position in the United States means that I have to settle for naturalized species. The only ones that I could probably get at this time are Milk Snails and there is very little information about them online. Some websites have said that they are "extremely difficult for beginners, requiring 90% humidity constantly" while others have said that they are "extremely simple low maintenance pets" I decided to post this here to talk to some people that have actually kept this species. Would I, as a beginner be capable of caring for these snails?
