Mexican Black Kingsnake

So I go into one of my local pet stores today... I was just kind of looking around, going "hey, that would be nice.... and so would that .... and that.... and that..." when I came across this absoloutely gorgeous Mexican Black Kingsnake. Needless to say I came home with it. What a score... I couldn't ask for a sweeter more agreeable snake... and as I've mentioned, beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far the nicest snake I've ever owned!

What a gorgeous king! I was just looking at a young black pair near me, last week. Out of all the kings, I really like the coloration on these. Beautiful specimen you have there!

Thanks so much all. I love it too!!!!!!! It was sold to me as a male but I'm not sure because the tail is rather short (charactaristic of females of most snake species). Any tips on how to sex these visually?

Oh and to answer a previous question, mine's about 3-4 feet.

The were selling it for $99.99 .... a little more than I had wanted to spend on a new snake but I'm sooooo glad I sprung for it! ;P
