this is a new phasmid species to the hobby - Megacrania phelaus from the Central Kwara'ae mountains of Malaita (Solomon Islands).
Very beautiful species, yet they are spezialised feeders. Their foodplant is Pandanus. But if you can provide them with Pandanus, then it is an easy species.

This is definately very attractive species no matter not a big one!

females of M. phelaus are up to 11 cm long and quite bulky - so not really a small species ;)
