Yes, I'm a newbie - I still name my spiders :)

Here is Bullwinkle, the B. smithi sling I got today from Drachenjager!
Sorry for the crappy picture quality. (Yes, I know I left off the "i" on smithi on the paper tag - I was in a hurry! :)



And here is my new Carolina Wolf Spider sitting on a Ritz while Gary cleaned out his jar before I brought him home.

I had no idea wolf spiders could subdue a Ritz cracker that size...must have been hungry!

I'm just noone decided to see if Andy Griffith was right that everything tastes better when it "sitz on a ritz!"

Yep, and my smithi got another pinhead when we got home, so s/he is very happy too! My son helped me feed my adult rosies, and he seemed equally fascinated and revolved.

Well, i thought that was a wolf spider, but maybe it was one of the elusive B. VEGANS that i see advertised lol seeing as it attacked a cracker lol

I don't know...are we certain that Ritz are totally free of animal products? Maybe it's an ovo-lacto B. Vegan...
