Not sure where to post this but I've had an Indian blue leg centipede for about 3 weeks and last week I bought canned herp diner mealworms, it didn't eat until I gave it the canned mealworms but today I go to take some more out and they look like cotton or something. Literally never heard of or seen this before so I have no idea what happened. I've only partially taken the metal lid off the can and have always kept the plastic lid on if that matters, thanks for any replies

So is there anything I can do to prevent mold after opening the can? Like would I have to put it in a fridge or freezer?
