I second the Thrixopelma cyaneolum, if you are lucky enough to find one, can be pricy if adult though.

Perfect for beginner, mine is the most "docile" of my collection (don't handle though) and is a super pretty T.

You can check my media if you want to see the few pics I posted of it.

I got into Tarantulas for the color and went with a sling GBB and a then A. Versicolor (now C. versicolor)as my first and got a P. irmina as a freebie. I’m not recommending you get any species really just that you do your research and get something reasonable temperament/ cost wise as a sling/juvie and learn It’s personality as it grows and isn’t so intimidating. Most important get something you’ll be passionate about. There as tarantulas I later got that if it had been my first I doubt I’d have stuck with this.

I've been unsuccessfully looking for them for years, so don't get your hopes up very high for one, OP. Beautiful Ts, but pretty much unavailable unless you get incredibly lucky with a private collector.

The only Thrixopelma I ever see pop up for sale occasionally is ockerti.
OR you check all the major dealer sites/classifieds on a daily basis like I do.
