Mayasian Cherry size

Anyone have a Malaysian Cherry red Centipede? I bought one Saturday that is about 6 inches and is ready to shed or lay eggs (I hope).

How big is yours? I wonder if these get as large as Subspinipes. They look like a subspecies.

I've had them as large as 7", maybe 8". My guess is they probably top out around 8, maybe 9.

Malaysian 'Cherry Reds' differ from the usual 'Malaysian Giant' (orange-ish) subspinipes. Much stronger red, distinct bands on the segments, thusly:

The cherry red with black stripes is the one I have.
Any word on the Peruvians?

What gets me on all these pedes is what incredible mothers they are! They spend absolutely all of their time curled around their eggs, for months! Pretty awesome!
