Anyone know the max leg span of the various Pamphobeteus species in the hobby are? I was just wondering which one is the largest. I would guess it’s the P. Antinous or Santo Domingo?

Thanks,

Bob

someone please correct me if I am wrong.

P. platyomma- females around 6.5 to 7 inches. male 7.5 to 8 inches.

p. antinous- female 7 to 8 inches. males 8 to 8.5 inches

p. ultramanis- female 5.5 to 6.5 inches. males 5 to 6 inches.

p. nigricolor- females 6 to 7 inches. males 6 inches

P. fortis- females 6.5 to 7 inches. males 6.5 to 7 inches.

I know there are more. I just havent seen mature ones to give a good size estimate.

You could probably add an inch onto most of those species...except Ultramarinus.

^ I didnt simple because that is the most "common" size. While yes, some of them are capable of bigger sizes...that usually is uncommon from my experience.

I've got 2 P. antinous that are now 9" ones slightly bigger than other, ones definately over 8"+ and the other is bigger.

Picture of the smaller one, I dont really have anything for size reference but yeah, they're big!
