Mature Male Characteristics

Im just wondering if there are mature males that never have any interest in mating? Im asking this question because i have an N. Chromatus and A. Moderatum males that has no interest in mating my females. They already had made sperm webs but never shown interest when I placed them in my females enclosures. However, my other males of those species are as eager to mate the moment i put them with the females.

Yea that certainly is not unheard of. Just remember that even if a particular male is reluctant to mate now, he still might be successful later on. So if you don't get another male to make a successful insertion with one of your girls, cycle back through the 'lazy' males cuz' sometimes they get back into the mood. I'm not sure on the characteristics of those two species though, as I have never attempted mating them.
