little update :
after aprox 1 month now,

The female laid an eggsac and builded a nice tunnel-burrow :)

I didn't see this thread originally. Very nice! :) How big are these Lycosids? Keep us updated as to how the eggsac goes..

these are medium sized wolfs i guess
BL= aprox 3cm, LS= aprox 6cm


PS:

i've given a death specimen to a Belgian arachnologist,...
he has taken pictures of the epigyne for getting an ID on these:

waiting for his answer :)
if someone else wants to trow in a guess on the genus or spec.
let me know ;)

Steven, you gave me the link to this thread in a reply you posted to one I started about my Wolf spider. I just had to say that I actually saw this thread yesterday, and was blown away by your beautiful photos! :eek:

I didnt realize how beautiful these spiders are close up, and I was drooling over the pics you posted :drool:

How many babies is that mama spider carrying around in that photo, and how many of them actually survived? Now I really, really want to get a mate for my wolf spider..... first I guess I better find out what sex she (or he) is!! :rolleyes:
