Does anyone know how to distinguish between these two species? They occur in the same ranges but I’m considering breeding my vinegaroons if I can identify them down to the species.
Your best bet is reading the revision paper that led to the separation into tohono cinteotl floridana and giganteus. Unfortunately the morphological differences are minute and locality seems to be a factor which does not help when they overlap.
