Hi folks

I have a common green mantis called miyagi I am due to move him into a bigger enclosure this weekend.

I have some vermiculite which I planned on using is it better for the substrate to be put in dry and then sprayed over?

So far one person has told me keep it dry but mist the enclosure

One person has said put it in dry but spray water over it a few times week

with vermiculite the water will sit underneath it. so i would probably only mist the top of it. i dont use any substrate in mine but im pretty xp with mantises. what species is it?

high ventilation is important, but it will drink from spraying mostly
