Im looking to purchase these african tiger species.Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks jc.

Hi

These are not that common in the hobby as they all have to be imported as WC adults. You may well be out of luck as you will need a permit to import/purchase these beetles if you live in the USA, from what I understand permits are never issued for private individuals for stuff like this.

lol, permits don't seem to be stopping many people from importing and selling here in the u.s., apparently ;)

You might be able to get them, but they will still be illegal, and by posting here you do put yourself in jeopardy of being investigated by the USDA/APHIS. And by investigated I mean raided.

From what I have heard the USDA/APHIS will come knocking and asking to look around even if you are just showing intent to buy.

They are just a bit touchy...
