Do the male scorps live short lives in comparison to females like with T's.

No. Although males may mature slightly faster in some species and are subject to much higher mortality in the wild due to their lifestyle, there is no significant difference between the sexes.

Dave,

I'm not questioning your knowledge, just asking; where did you get this information?

I know that Centruriodes males mature faster than females (at least they reach sexual maturity faster), though I have never read any studies related to life span. I wouldn't be able to tell either way which lived longer. In my experience, females live longer, though that is VERY limited experience and I wouldn't make any universal claims based on it. Again, I was just wondering. I'd love to get some hard and fast proof.

"Scorpion Biology," G.A. Polis. It is a review of basically all the things we knew about scorpions in 1990.

Cheers,
