Malaysian and Japan vinegaroons

So a couple of years ago i got a vinegaroon labelled as a Malaysian vinegaroon mated female, fast forward to now and i have one of the offspring still. I've just ordered some Japanese vinegaroons which arrived this morning, they look pretty similar, is there anyway to tell them apart?
Obviously they are being kept seperatly
