Yeh I just see it as a way to raise them for the keeper. If you intend to let them ultimately reproduce there a point at which housing them in a group will no longer be practical. If you just want to house a handful of mature females together that may possible indefinitely.
As others have said it’s seems more for the benefit of the keeper than the spiders. Mine are all living separately and growing as well as can be expected there is no way they would be doing any better together
