Loxosceles in Europe (Pic)

In Europe we do not have many really venomous spiders :( , but we do have some Loxosceles and a widow. In southern Europe Loxosceles rufescens occurs and at one single site in Europe Loxosceles laeta can as well be found. That is in the basement of the Zoological museum of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The male on the attached photo I have captured there two years ago but my girlfriend forbid me to keep it alive in our apartment, so I had to "get rid of it"

During the last years there has been a renovation of the museum and most of the basement as well. So the status of L. laeta in Europe is at the moment unclear. But I hope it has survived.
