My G. Pulchra just lost a leg during molt. There's no blood flowing out but as you can see there is a globule of blood at the joint, will this dry up ok or should I try to seal it off with glue or something? Thanx.
From the looks of it, the leaking should stop by itself. The trochanter should seal itself off when a leg is lost or cast at that position. It'll probably be fine but keep an eye on it just in case though.
Cheers guys. Came home from work this morning and she's just chilling in her den - can only see by the reflection on the perspex though so can't see the wound, but looks like she's just recouperating from the molt.
I'll offer her some food maybe at the weekend or early next week, then I'll find out if all is well.
(I say 'she' but still don't know sex)
