I did actually consider this... The guy was so tiny I just wanted to make sure the holes weren't too big for him to escape or get stuck in.So about three months ago I lost a Nhandu tripepii to what I believe was not enough ventilation. It was pretty small so the ventilation holes were very, very narrow like what's on the cup in the photo. I thought it was fine, it was eating and drinking normally and then when I went to water it one day I saw it had passed. I also figured it was okay since the substrate wasn't overly damp so it shouldn't create too much moisture in and around the tarantula but it still died and that's my best reckoning as to the reason why. Even with the pinprick holes and lots of them, there still isn't enough air flow for the spider. Better to put it in something with an in-between size hole that is bigger than the absolute smallest of the small but not so huge that the T can get its carapace through.
Thanks for that, I'll keep that in mind for next time. Another mistake that could've been easily rectified
