My son and I went to Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo CA. on monday, they have a large walk in aviary with numerous lorikeets. as soon as we walked in two landed on my shoulders and one on my son's head. the two on my shoulder starting biting on my ears so I went to remove the worst biter with my hand and it bit me so hard that it drew blood. my ears are sore as heck with bite marks all over them! the lorikeets are very colorful and nice to look at, but OW!

What beautiful birds. Your son is a nice looking young man, thanks for sharing the pictures. We used to have a quaker parrot that would chase our oldest son down the hall biting his ears. He was a mean bird. And he would sqawk all the time. Take care, Pam

Loris are awesome....

The loris truly have some of the most colorful birds around. I have always admired them but never kept any since they do tend to be a tad bitey and messy as heck. :) But still way cool looking.
