Long tailed grass lizard

Was in the pet shop the other day, getting mice and crickets, and happened to see a little lizard with the most amazing tail. He was $6, so I bought him, and set up a ten gallon tank for him. He's skittish, but calms down a little more each time I handle him.

look up Takydromus sp. for proper care. Most, maybe all?, are from asia.

those are CHIna/Hong Kong export
they are used as feeders for birds localy
but as far as i know, vine snakes takes gecko better than these
and Takydromus sp. have decent bites...

Oh, well, maybe these guys were being raised for feeders too, I dunno. I got him because I thought the ridiculously long tail was neat.
