Local snake

I caught this southern ringneck snake in the woods today....this guy has a bright yellow underside, and feeds on earthworms, salamanders, and such. They also can dine on other small snakes. They are faily common, I think, but still pretty. They have some decent musking power too, which I found out the hard way.

Oh yeah, we were in the woods near my fiance's house and he helped, he says. ;P

Nothing like being sprayed with hot, sticky, stinky stuff, is there? :D

That's great PG. Once it warms up a bit more I'm off in search of timbers and copperheads. There's nothing like finding a snake in its natural habitat.
