Local Scorpion from Hills of Azusa, California, USA

I found this scorpion under a rock in a very weak or no scrape, on a kind of dry sand spit thing by a creek.

At first i thought it was Paruroctonus silvestrii but on looking at the pics i am not so sure. The scorpion is probably ~1.5"/cm long

Hello Caco,

It could be P silvestrii, looks very much like it, some are darker, some are lighter. But it is definently a Vaejovidae.

Have a good day,
Ed

Damn I should kick myself for not going. I got some emergency over time I had to do. Oh well I really missed out.
