How do you sex a lobster roach? I've heard one site claim the males have longer wings and yet another say to look for some spots. All my lobsters have the same size wings and apart from seeing obviously pregnant females I have no way to tell them apart. Anyone have a good method?

Look up roach sexing...it works for lobsters too.

But I question why you are going to bother sexing lobster roaches. They are going to breed for you anyway!

These are not lobsters but all roaches work pretty much same way. Last segment on a female would be one big piece/section.

I used to sex my lobsters off before feeding too but after awhile you just have so many that it's really no need anymore.

To roach experts out there, anyone have any idea why some/most males have a piece of their last last segment bitten off?{D I'm assuming it's probably from fighting.
