I took a look but it is very hard to tell from that photo. Sorry but it would just be a guess by looking at that. If you can try to get a shot that is a little more clear and closer it would help. Good luck...

I am not an expert, and it's hard to tell because the plexiglass makes it look fuzzy. Can you get a closer and clearer shot?

How big is it?

If it is a Poecilotheria spp. (regalis?), a dorsal shot may help if the T is big enough.

My guess is male.

It looks like it could be some kind of pokie. Dorsal view or a clearer ventral view can hep in a positive ID. If this is a pokie though, do NOT get it as a first T.

Need a clearer picture.

How big is it from toe to toe? If it is larger than 3" a dorsal shot might help out.

I think its male, it looks like there is a dark arch right where the abdomen and carapace meet which would be the epiandrous fusillae.

Im about 70% on this one, a clearer shot would help

Just to throw this out there...the picture in the OP's first post is labeled as P. regalis...

I'll go back now and check what gender I think it is. Try taking some clear dorsal (top side) pictures for us to look at. Pokies can be sexed that way, too.

I believe the OP's T is male but pic isn't too clear so I am not 100% sure. 2nd pic I can't really tell sorry.
