Singer Lily Allen has had her English Bull Terrier Maggie May stolen...please pass this around...thanks. Also see links. ;)
She says.....
My dog who i love very very much was stolen on 28/12/06 from Capel Road, Forest Gate. London E7. My friend has been looking after her while I have been on holiday and she was taken from his van, parked outside his house.
Please if everybody could pass this message on for me there may be a chance that I can see her again.
Not only am i devastated that my dog has been taken away, but i am also concerned for her wellbeing. She needs an operation on her stomach and is having medical treatment.
please anyone help.
no one will be angry - me and my family just want Maggie home.
REWARD FOR HER SAFE RETURN.

Wait, didn't you just post last month about a lost cat? Are you some sort of advertiser for lost pets? Just wondering, or mabye your just a nice person trying to help a lost pet. :)

given that she/he wanted us to sign pention to make it a law to scan for a microchip, I would say that he/she has had a stole animal or two. And is now championing the cause to protect pets.

Sorry If I'm annoying you both in some strange way but in the UK now, stealing pets in return for large ransoms is getting to be big business. It's just nice to find a forum that allows me to post these threads and to spread the word as the Police are just not interested, so it's up to us to help in any way we can. I am so far lucky in that I haven't had a pet go missing or been stolen but then you never know what's around the corner in this life...do you. I have a friend that has been looking for her stolen dog since 2004 and she won't give up. If I can help spread the word about missing pets and to change the way Vets scan animals then it will be a job well done....I realise you don't live in the UK but there just may be someone that finds this website that live in the UK and can help find a missing pet. Anything is possible as they say:) Thankyou for your patience:)

I've never heard of this ransom thing going on, but then again I'm in Canada. Regardless, that's horrible and  to you for your efforts! World needs people like you.

Were you like quoting someone here then? Or do multiple people use that account? Because in that thread you're trying to find your lost dog, in a first person story. =/ *scratches head*
Err forgive me for being puzzled but where in that post did I say the cat was mine? As I said in my previous post, It's just nice to find a forum that allows me to post these threads and to spread the word as the Police are just not interested, so it's up to us to help in any way we can. I am so far lucky in that I haven't had a pet go missing or been stolen but then you never know what's around the corner in this life...do you. If I can help spread the word about missing pets and to change the way Vets scan animals then it will be a job well done......I realise you don't live in the UK but there just may be someone that finds this website that live in the UK and can help find a missing pet. Anything is possible as they say. Which part did you not fully understand...it's called "cross posting" ...hope this makes it clearer. Forgive me for being a caring human being that puts herself out to help people get their missing/stolen pets back but it's not a crime to be caring and it's certainly something that's overlooked in the UK these days.

We thought you may have been an internet troll spamming, but I see now you are NOT that, so post as many of the lost animal ad's as you want.

Mabye you will get lucky and someone on here lives by you and may know where the dog is.

Thanks hun, that's really kind of you to allow me to do this....if I were unlucky enough to have any of my animals go missing or stolen I would hope there would be people out there that would put themselves out to help me....Happy New Year everyone:)

I'm not trying to troll your post or try to catch you doing something bad or anything. It's just maybe I misread your previous post. You said

Damian has been missing from Brooklands area, Weybridge since 03/12/2006. If you have seen or heard anything about our beloved pet please contact Sarah on 0782 8698754 or email
sazwatson@hotmail.com

I figured the our meant you and your husband/wife/significant other. That's why I also also wondered if you might have been quoting someone since you've never had a lost/stolen pet before.

Good luck with the dog.

That's ok hun no probs...I was merely cross posting the original post that the owners posted elsewhere...no harm done and no offence taken:)

GREAT NEWS!!!!

Maggie May was sold for £200 to a young lad on the day she was stolen. He saw posters and made contact late last night arranging to hand her back. Maggie May is now safe at home with Lily. Emily thanks everyone for the effort put in and said it restored her faith in human nature. I don't know if money had to exchange hands.

Great news, welcome home Maggie May!
