lil scarlet millipede sick? not sure...

ive had my lil scarlet millipede for a few months now, (hes called mister torrance) & usually he likes to stay under the substrate, but lately he is staying above the substrate & not moving a whole lot? he doesnt stay in one spot constantly, cuz his position changes each time i check on him? so im not sure whats wrong...i changed his substrate & made sure it is nice & damp, i even misted the habitat so he can have lots of water...hes rlly tiny so they arent high maintenance...i just hope he is ok :< any advice? thank u...


(ps im rlly new here & this is my first millipede so im sorry if im in the wrong section or something :c ...)

hmmm have u been giving him food? he might also be molting. im not sure as im not big on millipedes

i was reading up on stuff and they say that they feed on all the stuff thats in the substrate so u can give them little fruits once in a while? hes super small..i put a little tiny piece of watermelon in his home yesterday & it looks like he ate a lil...now he is kinda curling up in the corner and sitting there...im unsure if he is molting or dying :< ....hes so tiny, idk if all millipedes molt or not? i cant find anything about scarlet millipedes specifically...thank u for reply anyway :<

thank u :< he seems the same kinda? its only different bcuz when i first got him he spent lots of time under the substrate, but now hes above it most of the time...i put calcium powder into his substrate, like i mixed it in u know? cuz i thought maybe he wasnt getting enough? but he seems about the same, just moving around little by little, so hopefully he iz ok
