It has been about 5 days since I last fed my G. pulchra sling. The first time I fed it I had to pre-kill the prey and leave it overnight for the sling to take it. I figured I would try live prey this time. So I put the prey in front of the sling, and waited. For about 20 seconds nothing happened. Then, almost faster than I could see, the sling struck and took the prey. I nearly jumped I was so surprised. Pure awesome!:D

Thats the fun part. Just be careful jumping though, you could wind up losing your spider by accidentally pushing or throwing it's container. lol. i've almost done that a few times.

Yeah, I know. If I would've been holding the container I probably would have, but I had it on a table so no worries.{D

T'Grizz, Yes, pulchra often hit hard ime! My largest male Scotty actually moved his smaller enclosure hitting crix on a few occasions before he was re-housed. Wham! {D
