What is the life span of an Avic. Purpurea?

Id would've though more likely 7-8 years for a female with males longevity around 4-5 years max!!!

I agree, most of the Avicularia genus seldom live past 8 years.

Of course with anything in the natural world, there may be some exceptions.

Same goes for all of the Avic family basically. They all live past 10+ years IF kept in good conditions. There are some that reach 12 - 14 every once in a while.
