I have bought, in the last 4-5 months, over 20 Theraphosa blondi slings from 3 different sources, all of them Europe imports.
There are slings,from the same eggsack (Im assuming) that have no color difference on the tarsus segment of the legs , while others have a very slight lighter coloration at the earlier stages (2nd and 3rd instars) on the tarsus.
That slight difference in color dissapears with the molt, but still, true T blondi has young individuals with a very subtle lighter shade/ coloration on the tarsus.
