Let's All Do The Buttscratch Dance!!!

After my tarantula, Damien, caught his/her cricket, it did this strange movement with its butt. It looked like fangs were digging into the mud. What is Damien doing? I was able to catch the end of it on video.-
By the way, the black part is its abdomen.

All my T's do this to varying degrees but my Avics really get down.they do this up and down thing followed by the 360 shuffle. "Ah the happy dance !"
