It looks like you guys are the experts, and since I'm getting no luck on the USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL websites I'll ask you.

I realize there is a post related to this here:

However, I was interested in details regarding the legal shipment of pet scorpions if anyone has them. It looks like USPS can only do it for medical purposes, and UPS explicitly bans them. Anyone know of a way to do it? I have three Arizona Bark Scorpions that I need to ship to my new place cross-country (USA).

EDIT:
It makes me think that FedEx might allow it due to this:

I'm not buying from them or anything, but it mentions FedEx as the carrier. I spoke with FedEx today and they said they do not ship them under any circumstances.

Fedex issues contracts to people to ship live animals (herps, inverts, etc), though this is usually done for people who are sending animals on a regular basis. If they issue contracts for it I imagine it would have to be legal in at least that situation. I'm not sure about legal restrictions on shipping them, but it is probably against company policy unless you've worked out something with whichever shipper is sending them. I'm not a lawyer though, and I have no idea what would happen if you were caught violating their policies.

I know that recently there was an online company created specifically to allow people to ship animals under their contract with fedex. You'd have to research it yourself, but that might be your best bet if you're worried about legalities. Also, I forgot to note which country you're in before typing the response, but this is all in reference to shipping inside the U.S.
