Leave mealworm in sling burrow or take it out?

I put a (head crushed) mealworm in for my 1” A. seemanni sling yesterday and just went to take it out now. The mealworm is half-eaten and kinda nasty so I want to take it out before it molds, but it’s in the burrow right next to the spider and I won’t be able to take it out without disturbing her & her home. What should I do?
