I just came across a renowned store selling this species. Although not a fan of the LP, I think many of the other Lasiodora species fairly popular in the hobby are a similar plain look but this species seems to be a silvery looking almost Nhandu like species... Quite fluffy...

I don't know if it's that particular specimen pictured on the store site as some species have individuals that can look a little different... As I have only just seen this species available though I wouldn't know it that is the case.

So my question is, what is their temperament like, their feeding response. How big do they get. Is it ok to get a pic if I keep the name of the store out of it so I can ask if they all look like that in general?

Very interested in this species. If you're not aware of it in the hobby then check it out see if you can find anyone that stocks the species it's worth a look. I just hope they are captive bred specimens 😁😁

I can't find much info other than the little info on the site so any info anyone has would be amazing.

Thankyou,

Terry.

They are uncommon in the U.S. I've only seen one vendor actually offer slings for sale.

Their husbandry will follow close to L. parahybana.

You found what I did...a bunch of photos lol
Well, only 4, and they're all by our resident ultra-rare species photographer.

That said OP, if someone has this species available and you like it, you should probably jump at the opportunity because it may not come around again anytime soon.

You're correctly, can't name vendors specifically in the discussion forums. If it's a reputable vendor, though, they shouldn't have an issue telling you where the specimen came from.
