Lasiodora Difficilis any experience?

Picked up a 1" sling today, have read all the care sheets on these guys but REALLY wanna hear some personal experiences!

Heres a couple pics of the little guy, felt so bad for it the store had him in substrate that was covered with mold!!!

From my experience there the same caresheet as the L. Parahybana...
Almost completely the same...

I wouldn't mind hearing more personal experiences (rather than general care) about this species also. I just so happen to have aquired an empty 10 gallon over the holidays and was considering one of these as a choice of large and wonderful species to put in it. I was also curious about real experiences regarding size. I read in some places that they get as large as an L.p. and others that they do not. Since larger tarantulas often have their sizes exaggerated anyway, I was wondering what your individual specimens seemed to top out at?
