I've raised these, and love them (well only the females are pretty). This species is particularly susceptible to death if it gets too dry according to @Poec54 who has bred these for many, many years.
Do yourself a favor and pay attention to the substrate dampness. Also, keep it in a larger than expected home. They obtain large sizes and are VERY fast.
From reading the posts here, I get the impression you haven't done a proper amount of research, or considered the wrong sources.
