Survived our first bigger-than-sling rehouse! And got some slightly better post-molt photos of our versi.

Clinging to its old home:

First shot in its new home:

Showing off the new colors and fresh floof a little:

When you are fully aware that you're a sleek, gorgeous predator who deserves to be photographed and admired:

When your human ACTUALLY dares to photograph and admire you:

(Still in love with those toes though.)

Slings all decided to check in today.

The elusive land squid having a nice stretch (A. purpurea "Baby T")

The "is that a spider or a tick" having a nice loaf about the bin (G. pulchra "Lava, The Floor Is")

The snotty teenager with the 80s leg warmers (P. irminia "Spunk")

Literally the most I have seen of my C. versicolor (the increasingly inaccurately named "Baby Blue") since rehousing it on October 10. Clearly, I gave it too good a hidey hole by accident 😅

Eats fine, just... doesn't leave its perfect little den (at least when anyone is looking).

By contrast, P. irminia "Irma" remains frequently on display despite having webbed herself a lovely start on a tube in her bark.

Beautiful T’s. I have all of these but they’re all tiny. Can’t wait for them to grow. Except my g pulchra is about 2.5 inches other than that all of them are itty bitty. Waiting on my enclosures I ordered to arrive so I can start housing them all in their more realistic habitats.

Thank you! Most are recent additions. I am eagerly awaiting the day my A. purpurea starts really turning purple. The prior molt, it had a bit of blue on it... Still waiting for it to come out of its web after the molt last week 🤞

You gotta post it up when it does. The a purpurea I have is a lil sling. Looks very adorbs. I just recently got mine on Wednesday. Most of my collection I have now. I got pretty good deals on them for Black Friday. So I picked up 7 different T’s.

Amazon. It's listed as a "reptile breeding tank" and comes in three sizes and from a couple different brands. This is the one I have for my versi (and currently also have my 3.5" irminia in the same type of tank):

I have one of the small ones set up for an Avic-type sling, but it is sadly as yet unoccupied.

Had to add the bottom row of vent holes but the acrylic drilled pretty easily. Definitely been happy with them so far!

Haven't gotten a good, proper full view yet, but when I finally stole the exuvia, I was treated to a solid glimpse of an A. purpurea butt that appears to have lost its stripes this molt.

Update: 95% full view achieved, if only just briefly, and indeed there remains just the barest hint that stripes ever existed:

I will miss the adorable stripes, but this beauty is just about 2" now, and is gorgeous every time it emerges after a molt.
