I dont see them often, a friend has a couple 5-6"
I am wondering how big males are when they hook out
The price is quite nice, though unsexed (not unusual for this guy)

Price should always be nice, it's a Lasiodora.

Males can mature as small as the upper 5" range to as large as the 7" range.

I’m thinking that price is a bit high for an unsexed specimen, even at that size. Plus, I’m curious as to why it’s unsexed at that size. However, if you want something, and don’t see them often, jump on it. Klugis are my favorite of the genus, like the linebacker version of a LP.

There are only two reasons why Ts that size would be unsexed -

1. They were recently wild caught

2. They are actually male and the seller is lying

Either way, it is a HUGE red flag.

As much as I love my klugi girl, I would not pay $100 for an unsexed specimen of that size...

There's no reason to pay that much extra money just for the size, at that point just buy more than one sling and have a better chance at a female.

I'd agree with Teal usually. But I know the seller and he is eccentric like that

"Eccentric like that"... You're telling me that these Ts are captive bred, he has raised them to darn near adult size and never bothered to even *glance* at a molt?

Too much

At that size, it may be penultimate....also, at that size it should be easily vent sexed, so just put it in a deli cup and have a look before buying.

Ts I don't ever plan to sell get no effort from me to sex, I could care less, so I get it.....but if I sell something that large, I want it sexed, both so I don't get the short end selling a female at unsexed price, and even more so so that I am not screwing a customer by selling a penultimate male. There's nothing worse than buying a t, and having it be a MM with its first molt a month into having it.....just sayin'

I’d vote for “too much” as well. Unless the species is super rare or hard to breed, I definitely wouldn’t pay 3 digits for an unsexed spider.

L. klugi are only slightly less common.

Hmmm...would anybody buy an unsexed Pamphobeteus sp. "solaris" for $100?

I wouldn't.

But maybe that's because that species doesn't interest me :p

Would 100$ be cheap for one, is that what you mean?
